inspirational images

This is a small sample gallery of photographic images. For my full professional photography gallery and image shop, please visit inpictur.es which also includes my Brushstrok.es digital paintings.
I've always been a believer that it's the photographer that makes the image, not the equipment. Certainly that's what I strive for in my photography. Nothing here has been taken on anything more sophisticated than a Canon EOS 10D and a few basic lenses, some are taken on an iPhone and some of these pictures are from an 8-year old Fuji point-and-shoot, which I still use to prove the point.
I love the whole digital workflow. For me, photography is art, not just journalism, not solely about recording recognisable reality - therefore I am happy to push my images beyond what the camera sees into other realms, if I feel it is appropriate. I hope you will enjoy the results.
I'm also delighted to have been listed by the photography and movie company Tiffen as their very first "featured imagemaker".
