Telephonetics mulls Eckoh bid

Speech recognition group Telephonetics has admitted it is considering a possible offer for rival Eckoh Technologies. “The board confirms that it is in discussions with Eckoh which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of Eckoh,” it said in a short statement.
