Voxeo Acquires VoiceObjects


Voxeo, which produces standards-based voice applications, reported Tuesday that it has acquired VoiceObjects.
Voxeo, which seeks to develop easy-to-use voice products, said VoiceObjects, which provides self-service application development analytics solutions, will assist users in developing phone applications that can be deployed on VoiceXML platforms.

Vodafone Ireland Selects VoiceObjects to Power Automated Self-Service System

VoiceObjects, a provider of self-service phone portals, announced that Vodafone Ireland, a mobile communications operator, has selected VoiceObjects’ phone application server software suite to power its automated phone self-service system.

The VoiceObjects solution is considered to be a strategic element to a key customer care initiative at Vodafone Ireland in an effort to mirror customers’ Web self-service experience over the phone self-service channel.

The first of the Vodafone operating companies to deploy a VoiceXML-based IVR platform, Vodafone Ireland migrated to the Nortel Media Processing Server and chose Hermes Softlab to assist with the deployment. [click heading for more]
