Enghouse Completes Acquisition of Envox

Markham, Ontario, Phoenix, Arizona and Westborough, Massachusetts – (October 20, 2008) – Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX: ESL), today announced its acquisition of the business and assets of Envox Group AB. The acquisition was completed by Enghouse and certain of its subsidiaries including Syntellect Inc., for a purchase price of US$14,000,000, subject to certain adjustments. Envox’s annual revenues are approximately US$16,000,000.

Boston Medical Center Uses Envox 7 to Pioneer a New Healthcare Delivery Model

Envox Worldwide today announced that the Envox Communications Development Platform 7 is being used by researchers at Boston Medical Center (BMC) to deliver cutting edge care to patients with chronic health conditions. Envox displaces Periphonics at Sinclair Oil

Envox Worldwide today announced that it has been selected by Sinclair Oil Corporation, an independent oil company with distribution throughout the plains and mountain states, to provide interactive voice response (IVR) capabilities for the company's customer service operations. Sinclair chose a next-generation Envox voice solution to replace its proprietary Periphonics system and enable them to leverage new technologies to offer customers better service today, and in the future. Envox Powers Apptera's Speech-Enabled, VoiceXML-Based 'In-Call' Solutions

Apptera, a provider of technology for mobile advertising, search & commerce, has selected Envox OnDemand to power its "In-Call" solutions. Apptera will reportedly move its existing "In-Call" customers to Envox OnDemand and will use the solution for all of its customers in the future. Apptera's services are provided In-Call, at the exact moment a customer is interacting with a business over the phone, and are popular with companies that want to monetize their call traffic and automate many of the routine tasks of managing customer requests for information and order processing.
